

The Centre offers a large variety of group exercise classes for various groups such as: Ladies Only, Coed, SilverSneakers for older adults, Specialty classes, and Aquatic Fitness on a regular basis. We strive to offer a broad variety of classes with various levels for beginners to experienced, such as stretch, pilates, fitball, aerobic step, cardio & tone, kickboxing, dance styles, circuit, and aquatic. Enjoy taking these classes in our new spacious Group Fitness rooms or Gym. Most equipment such as weights, balls, and matts are provided. To learn more about these classes, scroll down. All the classes except Specialty are included in a Centre membership! If you're not a member, you're welcome to take advantage of our flexible day pass option. Join a class anytime!

Ladies Only Fitness Classes
These classes are only for women and are located in Group Fitness B. For the most current class schedule, click here.
Belly Dancing: This class uses the techniques of Middle Eastern Dance and applies them to the fitness industry. Participants will benefit from the mind/body connection and core workout. Appropriate for all fitness levels!
Body Sculpt:
This class consists of traditional strength using hand weights and focuses on all of the major upper and lower body muscle groups.
Cardio Mix: Any combination of Kickbox, Turbo Kick, Step, and/or Hi/Lo! A great variety class for all fitness levels!
Fitball: This class uses a Fitness Ball to improve strength and endurance of your core and other major muscles. Please note that Fitballs are available on a first come basis. Please feel free to bring your own ball. Fitball is great for anybody!
Interval Training: This class combines cardio and strength intervals for maximum fat-burning. Cardio intervals may include step, kickboxing, ball and traditional floor aerobics. Strength intervals may utilize heavy and light free weights, large and small balls, steps and straps. Great for new exercisers as well as seasoned participants.
Kick Box: Burn calories and box away stress! Improve agility, strength and endurance using a combination of martial art movements coordinated with highly motivating music. Beginners, intermediate and advanced participants welcome.
Pilates: Unite the mind and body to gain core strength, control, consciousness, balance and symmetry. This original mat workout focuses on controlled, graceful movements in order to streamline the muscles by lengthening and strengthening them. This non-aggressive workout is a great addition to balance your weekly exercise routine. We recommend bringing a sticky mat to this class. Suitable for any fitness level.
Pilates with Small Stability Ball: This new twist on pilates utilizes a small stability ball for an extra core challenge as well as alignment focus. This is done with no shoes for alignment and balance. All levels of fitness are accomodated.
Power Stretch: Combines Pilates, yoga and traditional strength moves for total body conditioning.
Step & Strength: This class combines step with weight training. A great way to get cardiovascular and muscular training in one class! Suitable for intermediate to advanced levels, but beginners may try.
Step: Step training using a platform bench. This class is a unique way to improve the overall cardiovascular system. Intermediate and advanced fitness levels welcome.
Step Interval: This intermediate to advanced class alternates between step combinations and weight training. You will burn maximum calories by bringing your heart rate up and down. Try it out today! Suitable for intermediate and advanced levels, but beginners are welcome to try.
Stretch & Flow: Focuses on fluid movement from pose to pose in yoga sequences followed by long, gentle, static stretches.
ZUMBA: Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “FUN AND EASY TO DO" allowing participants to stick to the Zumba Fitness program and achieve long-term health benefits. Zumba is a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind. Good for any fitness level.

Coed Fitness Classes

20/20/20: Bring some balance into your life! Enjoy the benefits of a stronger core, increased balance, and more endurance for sports, recreation activities, or the everyday chores of life. This class will be divided into equal segments of basic cardio, core, and functional balance training. Train hard and feel great!
Boot Camp 101: Unlike the military’s boot camp, you can choose your level of exertion! This circuit class with music, works with the medicine ball, stability ball, tubes, steps, cones, agility ladder and hand weights. Be ready for a fun, full body workout that gives both cardiovascular and muscular training.
Have a Ball!: Enjoy the fun of fitness with a fitness/stability ball. This workout combines the benefits of core training and strength training by incorporating the use of a stability ball.
Kickbox Explosion: Pump up your fitness level with explosive movements, using
medicine balls, step boxes and a plethora of miscellaneous tools guaranteed to kick your fitness level up at LEAST two notches!
POWER 90 Cardo & Abs: A 90 day fitness program that will improve your fitness level, increase your flexibility, strengthen and tone your abs. You will see a difference in your body shape!
Pump & Pray: Join in the fun! Challenge yourself training station to station, using a variety of equipment, exercises and music ending with a short time of sharing prayer requests and praises.
Texas Line Steppin’: Exercise while tapping into the energy of music and rhythm! No special skills are needed as you step your way to improved balance, coordination, flexibility, and cardiovascular improvements. This fun easy-to-learn class will take your mind off of your daily routine and leave you feeling great!

Hybrid Fitness Classes
Centre Cycling: Indoor cycling is a group exercise class done on stationary bikes. During the class the instructor simulates the ride. Together, you travel on flat roads, climb hills, sprint and race! You can indoor cycle when it is raining or snowing outside. You are kept motivated by the instructor, the people around you and the music. Get ready for a fun, fantastic cardiovascular workout!
Core Ripper: Strenthen and tone your abs in this 30 minute express workout. Build a strong core and sculpt your abs in this class by focusing on the powerhouse (core) muscles of your body utilizing med-balls, weights, body bars, and your own body weight. All levels are welcome as the exercises can be modified for beginners to advanced.
Raise the Bar: A total body workout with lots of variety using the body bar weight training, plyometrics, and other resistance interspersed with cardio intervals to give you a high-energy, calorie burning workout. Be prepared to sweat!
SilverSneakers® Fitness Classes 
SilverSneakers or SilverSplash group fitness classes are appropriate for older adults who are fit and active as well as those who are sedentary, intimidated, unfamiliar with exercise, or those entering post-rehabilitation programs. These classes meet either in the Gym or the Pool.
SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit: Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout! Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. *The ability to stand for 30 minutes is a requirement for this class.
SilverSneakers Muscular Strength & Range of Movement: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
SilverSneakers Silver Stretch: This new class is designed to challenge you physically and mentally with a variety of simple and safe stretch exercises that you will do at your own pace. Using a chair for support, you will increase flexibility, build endurance and learn how to relax and think more clearly.

Specialty Fitness Classes
The Centre often partners with outside trainers to offer Specialty classes. These are not included in Centre membership and therefore have their own fee structure. (A Day Pass is not required for those participating in a Specialty class exclusively.) These classes are for men, women, and children and are located in the Courts or Group Fitness A. TKD Karate - Chung Do: Kick your way to better flexibility, improved fitness discipline, self-defense and increased self-confidence! Entire families are encouraged to participate together. Strong emphasis is placed on family values, as expressed in our Tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit. Open to all ages and abilities (from 5 to 105).

Body Explosion!: Challenge your training and advance to new, creative and innovative movements! This 30 minute high intensity interval training class will focus primarily on body weight training supplemented with steps, hand weights and medicine balls.
