Centre Seniors

The mission of the Centre Seniors program is to create opportunities for fellowship and activities for those ages 50+. These activities emphasize spiritual awareness, and growth in Christian ministry. Enjoy weekly activities for ranging from enjoying musical performances, Bible studies, health and fitness presentations, card tournaments, luncheons, the Wii, and more! You can attend a SilverSneakers®class and then head to an activity, or attend the activity alone! SilverSneakers® members receive discounts! Activities run from 11am to 12pm three days a week. Watch for monthly announcements for descriptions of the upcoming events! For more information please contact Dori at 263-6232 ext. 751. Mondays:           

Bible Study. New believers and mature believers alike can spend time with peers enjoying bible study with topics geared for seniors.

 

Tuesdays:           

Euchre/Pinochle Tournaments. Enjoy playing cards and looking for some friendly competition? Sign up for our tournaments!

 

Café Performances. At the Café performances you can enjoy music while sipping coffee or eating lunch in the Centre Café! 

 

Special Luncheons.  Luncheons are held on Tuesdays four times a year—watch for future topics!

 

Thursdays:

Health/Exercise and Miscellaneous Events. It is never too late to learn more about exercise and health! Or, do you enjoy history, hobbies, computers, or the Wii? Come and enjoy presentations and activities directed to be senior-focused.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Special Luncheon:  Tuesday, September 14  "Helping the Habitat 500" Revs. Jim and Kathleen Splitt share their experience bicycling 500 miles to raise money for Habitat for Humanity families. This luncheon is $8 ($5 for SilverSneakers® Members). Please make a prepaid reservation by September 7.
